I was running through a few different settings on my system and after the latest one, I can not get my PC to boot unless I pull the CMOS battery every time.

System:
Asus Z97-AR mobo
i5-4690k
8x2 Mushkin DDR3-1600
Corsair H100i v2 cooler
Corsair RM850 PSU

My system was running stable at 1.200V and 42 on the cores, but I tried to push it to 44 on the cores and left voltage to auto to see if it would run stable.
Afterwards the red CPU light came on on my MB and the system would not post.
I cleared the CMOS by disconnecting the power and pulling the battery for a minute, replaced it and started the system back up in default settings and booted into windows with no issue.
However, as long as I "reset" my system everything is fine, but if the system ever loses power the red CPU light on the MOBO comes back on and I have to pull the CMOS battery again and so goes the loop.

Did I cook the cpu?
Is it just the CMOS battery? (it's not that old)
Is my PSU dying?(again, not that old)

I even updated to the latest BIOS and it still continues.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
