Should have said that you needed it to do rendering
Ryzen 7 will run laps around that outdated 7700k
when it comes to rendering.

a mobo that is capable of overclocking would be good then you can upgrade to a 7700K or something similar and OC it later maybe if you wanted to do SLI/crossfire then something with more than one PCIE x16 on it, one thing i will highly reccommend is that you increase the ammount of ram you have to 16GB i was running 8GB ram and could only do about 3 hours of non intensive GTA V gameplay untill it stopped working correctly as for everything else seems fine only thing i would change is the HDD to something bigger because it gets cheaperr and i store allot of crap on my pc but up to you. also sorry for bad english its like 4AM and im slightly dunrk.

You didn't mention your budget, but assuming it's around $1k
