Hello,

I was playing BF4 in the morning, quit the game few mins later put my desktop on sleep mode, left and came back a few mins later, try to turn on my PC again, and it's not working so I check what the problem is? Red led on the motherboard indicates that the CPU is not being detected even though it is producing heat, I rewired my PC, removed the GPU and installed it, removed my ram and installed it, removed the CPU and installed it back again. Still not detecting the CPU, I have had this computer since 5 months now more or so. Only thing I haven't done is clear CMOS, can't find my jumper, probably need to order one.

SPEC:
Case: Obsidian 250D
GPU: GTX 1080ti
CPU: i7 6th gen
PSU: 850
MB: Z270I ITX GAMING PRO CARBON
Ram: HyperX DDR4
HHD: 3 TB
SSD: 250

Solution
You could use anything conductive to jumper the two pins together, just use care when doing so. Page 34 of the manual explains the process,

Read page 34, can you give me a exmaple or a tutorial on how to jump the two pins together without a jumper?

Did a CMOS, looked up on youtube how to do it without a jumper, used a paper clip. Thanks for the help.
