One of my removable drives has been deleted...how do I get it back?

I am running Vista. My computer has several USB ports. There are (4) in the back...F,G,H and I and there are (2) in the front...J and K. I installed a bigger hard drive (2T) because the C drive was low on space. I was fooling around with some partition freeware and with Disk Management and somehow (I don't know how), the removable drive J appeared there and was in RAW format. It was exactly 1 MB in size. I tried formatting it to NFTS but it didn't work. BTW...if you put a flash drive in the J port, it was recognized as a "second" K drive. So, I came to this blog and a couple other ones and tried following other people's advice but I couldn't fix it. So, I stupidly deleted it hoping that I could get it right back and maybe it would reset itself but I couldn't get it back. How can I fix this? Obviously, the USB port is physically there but the computer recognizes it as another K drive. I would like to change it back it to the J drive. Is that possible or is it too late? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Not sure what you are talking about USB ports and letters, the drive letters are not assigned based on what USB port they are in. There should not be two K drives showing up in My Computer. What are you talking about when you said you "deleted" the drive, deleted how? Sounds like you are just used to seeing drive letters in a certain way and they just changed on you after you started playing around with the drives.

Post a screenshot of your My Computer with the drive letters and also Disk Manger with how the partitions are setup.
