Please help selecting between i3 5005u or i5 2500.

Which CPU configuration is better? In context of speed and performance and video editing, will Intel i5 2500 will perform better or Intel i3 5005U. Actually I think i5 2500, but the graphic memory and benchmark of i5 2500 is very poor. Which one does video editing better, the Intel i3-5005U with Intel® HD Graphics 5500 or the Intel i5-2500 with Intel® HD Graphics 2000? Which one supports a graphic card? After installing the graphic card, which one will be better? Sorry for bad english.

Go with the i3 and the 5500. Video cards are also important when video editing so having a good combination can be very important. The 5500 is WAY better in terms of performance than the 2000. The i3 is only slightly slower than the i5. Good luck.

I saw the benchmarks and i5 2500 seems way faster than the i3 5005u. So applying an graphic card wont help? I am luring towards the better benchmarks for the i5 2500.
