Hey guys, it’s my first ever time building a PC and I’ll be using it for gaming 90% of the time. I’d say my budget is about £700.

AMD Ryzen 7 1700 - £150
MSI X370 GAMING PRO CARBON (Brand new) - £90
Samsung EVO850 250gb(Brand new) - £55
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 8GB (New) - £40
XFX RX 480 - £167
Seasonic M12II-520W PSU Fully Modular (Brand new)- £50.07
Phanteks P400 TEMPERED GLASS Case (Brand new) - £60
AOC 144Hz FreeSync Monitor (Brand new) - £90
NZXT AER 120/140mm fans?

I was initially planning to buy the R5 1600 CPU but I found a really, really good deal on the 1700 so I went with that.
I just wanted opinions on this build and I’m open to any improvements that could be made on it. I also wanted to ask if it was possible to fit the 140mm fan in the rear of the Phanteks P400 case.
Also any additional items I should buy that most people forget? Like is a anti static wrist wrap necessary?
I’m also planning on buying some PSU (24pin/8pin?)extension cables to add more to the aesthetics.
Any help and recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys!

very good build. Steal on the 1700! If you have extra, get 16gb ram instead. Also Ryzen loves fast ram, 3000+ is preferred :)

For the case:

Front: 3 x 120mm / 2 x 140mm (1 x 120mm fan included)
Top: 2 x 120mm / 140mm
Rear: 1 x 120mm (1 x 120mm fan included)

I guess front can add 2 120 mm fans and top add 2 140 mm fans :)

I know! I couldn't believe it tbh!
Ah that's a bummer, wish I could have added an 140mm fan at the back :/
