So I’ve been attempting to OC my I5 3570k but when attempting to set the multiplier in the ASROCK OC Tweak it will not allow me to go over 38 to say 44 or so. I’ve adjusted the voltage to allow for a higher voltage but it will not let me go higher. I’ve check tons of videos and other forums but I cannot seem to figure out why.

Well when attempting to set the multiplier higher it will be auto adjusted back down to 38 would the mobo know the max setting beforehand? Also with it set to 38 it still shows the base clock as the default clock in task manager and resource monitor.

No, it wouldn't know the max beforehand. Tried updating your BIOS? It should just be a change of the multipliers, saving, and exiting, but maybe that BIOS version is having troubles.
