Help can't install Hyper 212 evo backplate

I got this to replace my deepcool cooler, and found there is not enough clearance at the other side! The bolt will not even go all the way through due to this. Its a CM690ii advanced case. Is therr any way around this? Thanks

remove the motherboard from the case.
install backplate.
replace the motherboard in the case.

yep.

Careful with the graphics card as there MAY be a retention latch that needs to be pulled out on as you remove the card (forcing can damage the latch)

There should be six screws for microATX and nine screws for ATX motherboards that go through the motherboard into the standoffs that are screwed into the back of the case.

if the motherboard support site has FAN SOFTWARE use that to setup a custom fan profile
