Hello. so first im not sure if im in the right section for this so please excuse me if im not..
right now i have a normal Antec case.. i want to sell it and with the money i will receive i will buy materials to build the custom case..
so i have 4 questions
1. the purple fan, and the gray tube is things which i thought about adding, is it good?
(the D15S cpu cooling - already moving the air from left to right)
2. is it okay that the psu and gpu stand right next to each other?
3. which material should i build this? im trying to go as cheap as possible..
4. if any one knows on the market a cheap case which fit this size perfectly i would like to hear

i know that i should have a mini itx motherboard but like i said im trying to get it cheap as possible and make the pc much more compact..

the black box is the size of the motherboard, and probably the size of the case..

Silverstone rvz03, rvz02 and rvz01 are pretty much the case you want to build but made for you. Also don't expect to get a lot of money for a case since almost no-one looks for a used case. Your casedesign is ok but airflow around the gpu is wrong. Only blower models blow air out the back only other cards just throw it wherever they can.

i had a feeling im mistaking with the gpu air flow, thanks for that!
what do u say about the air flow on the cpu?

and the Silverstone cases arent good for me, its a waste of space, very large..
i want the case to be as a cube like this:

Silverstone SG13. This one is smaller in every dimension (except height there it is 2.5 cm taller) and is a known good case. It's not that expensive and you'll be better of getting it since building your own case is a lot of work and iterating and the first couple of attempts usually end up with sub par cases that will be replaced in the near future.

I agree, there are plenty of cases with a similar arrangement that aren't expensive.

If you want to proceed with building it then I suggest one of the free or cheap CAD programs out there so that you can design in 3D. I think we are missing something here that isn't obvious in your description or diagram.

If you provide a complete part list, we can probably find track you down something you would be okay with buying. (Unless you have access to quite the workshop, you are going to have to spend money on tools, drill bits, taps, and some decent cutting tools, which will easily add up to the cost of a case)

i will love to see a case that fit this size exactly but i didnt find online, if someone knows i will be very happy to see...
about the building, i have all the tools, everything, i just need to buy the material - and thats one of my questions, which material should i get? wood? carton? i think metal will be expensive but i dont know..

Racks are too wide, and any desktop chassis that supports ATX is also too wide. If it were ITX I'm pretty sure there are plenty of cases that will fit in under 19cm and be about 30cm square.

Usually they achieve it by having the PSU directly above the CPU though, which means low-profile coolers.

About the only way for a larger board to work would be to place the power supply over the un-used expansion slots, which is probably why they don't exist as a product. They would just choose an ITX board.

this one is pretty excelent, the only problem here is the price.. i guess i will build my own custom case from fiberglass.. what to u guy say about the air flow? is it okay? should i do the tube or its just get it wrost?
i also thought about adding tube from the left fan of the gpu, to out side the case.. what do u say?

What country are you in ??

There is another one (in the UK) which ia very very cheap ita branded the avp Hyperion but I've seen it in other regions under different names

The issue with your custom case layout is there is no airflow to GPU or PSU at all

That PSU needs spinning around so the fan is pointing out of the case & psu heat is isolated from the rest of the system.

How it is at the moment it will just interfere with the rear GPU fan.

If you fitted a blower/founders edition style single fan card you could leave the psu as it is but you still need an intake fan on the top edge to the left of the PSU.

about the PSU coolin u r right, i will turn it around, but hey wow this avp Hyperion case is pretty good! but im afraid my gpu wont fit in the 30 cm there.. i mean, the Palit 1080 GTX is about 28 cm.. and maybe the case is a little less than 30.. what do u say?

update: i live in israel and i dont see good price with shipping :(
