Hi guys,
I was planning to buy a F4-3200C14Q-64GTZ kit but sadly it is out of stock in my local store - but they have F4-3200C14Q-64GVK. Is my understanding correct that these kits are identical but have different cooler so in the end it does not matter which one I get? On my Mobo's compatibility list there is F4-3200C14D-32GTZR kit, so RGB version of the GTZ but I guess GVK would work without problem and get same performance?
Getting RAM for my Ryzen setup. Will be using AsRock X370 Prof. Gaming motherboard. I am not sure about the cooling for CPU yet so if I were to use Noctua D-15 are there any other comparable 64 kits good for ryzen as g skill will be too big and I would like to use 2 fans with the cooler?

Solution
They may have slightly different timings. I'm not sure how different 14Q vs 14D is.
AsRock as you point out doesn't list this particular memory model number, and when looking up F4-3200C14Q-64GVK, it only lists Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming K6 from asrock as compatible. For that matter, same goes for F4-3200C14Q-64GTZ.
F4-3200C14D-32GTZR is a 32 Gb version and so can't assume anything from rgb vs non-rgb but I don't see your board listed in it's qvl either on gskill's support page nor the asrock's one. This doesn't mean it won't work but, before deciding on a memory, I would get confirmation either from asrock or from gskill that it absolutely works with your board, as 64Gb is not very common still and you don't want to have to return it...
