Hi I am trying to access my Zyxel 325 (not v2) remotely. I cannot use myzyxel cloud as its not compatible (wont pair) so I would like to know how to program my router to access the nas.
Please do not say use dynds and port forward as i do not know how to do this, I really need more detailed info if possible Many thanks

If Cloud option is not working, and you don't want to do port-forwarding, you are limited to local access only.

The safest way to access your NAS is to enable VPN server on your router. This will let you access your nAS as if you are accessing it from your home. Every other way will be good for file transfer only.

I am happy to do port forwarding - I just don't know how to do it, and most instructions don't seem very clear to me.
if someone could take me through it step by step...
