Cannot update driver

My graphics card seems to be having some issues with my PC, primarily software-based. I particularly want to update my driver, but when i try this, the update fails and my whole PC goes down. Logically one would argue that updating the driver is the best way to solve GPU problems, but... obviously not here.

Need full system specs and exactly what happens and happened to the system before this driver issue started. Does it work fine on the original drivers? Or is the video card only running on base VGA drivers? Has it worked before fine? Did you test the card in another system to make sure it's good?

Sorry I missed all that, I'd put those details in another post but forgot them here. Nonetheless I've fixed the issue. Should anyone else see this thread and have this problem, I had to uninstall the original graphics driver in safe mode , before giving the other a try.
DDU is the program i used
