Hello guys I have this problem for more than 3-4 years. Whenever I close a specific window's shutter in my house the internet connection is immedietly getting limited (you know the mark with a yellow triangle) and that means the internet connection is stopped.
This problem started when my family added an alarm system in my house , the technisian came and passed some cables through the walls so they are connected with the alarm device. The strange is that there are 3-4 windows and it only happens to one specific window.

The guy who installed the alarm says that he doesnt know anything but indeed when he finished the work he asked us if the internet connection was working properly and it seemed like a strange question for me on this time , but now I get it. He seems like he is bored to come and fix it so he says that he has no idea.

Any help?

How close is the router to the shutter? Make and model router?

Does not take much to degrade network performance and that includes internet connectivity.

So if your wireless is being degraded then there could be some ripple effect through your router and network.

And that "4/4" strength measurement is really not that reliable. Tends to be more like the infamous "Check Engine" light.

Can you temporarily relocate the router? Can you try (if available) the other frequency and/or channels?

Try running pathping and tracert from both wired and wireless computers. Look for lag between the computer and router. Or further downstream as the case may be.

Conduct the tests with and without the shutter being closed.

The objective is to...

Wired or wireless?

What kind of shutters: wood, fiberglass, metal even?

My thought would be that when he ran the wires he did something that pinches, bends, pulls, or otherwise interferes with an existing Ethernet run when the shutter is closed.

Or the shutter could be causing just enough signal loss in some wireless connectivity to hit a threshold and performance drops.

Any Ethernet wall jacks or known Ethernet runs in or around the window area? Or other incoming connections (e.g. coax, DSL) from your ISP?

Do a thorough physical inspection and look carefully. Do so safely - no climbing roofs etc.. Map out the alarm and internet/network connections.

See what you can find.

And that right there is the entire issue. The metal content of the shutter is blocking the signal. You only have two options here:

1. Replace the shutter with a metal free version (you'll still get some blockage when closed)
2. Run a cable.

You dont understand , when I close the shutters wifi isnt blocked but internet is getting limited , the signal is not affected.

Even if I use a cable to connect (ethernet) the router just loses its ability to connect to the interent.

I dont have problem to connect my PC with the router but the router has a problem connecting to the internet. Wifi signal is not affected it is still 4/4 but the yellow triangle appears.

The objective is to narrow down the circumstances involved.
