Hey everyone!
Bought an EVGA 1080, an upgrade for my GTX 760. Used DDU to wipe the drivers, installed the 1080, installed the required drivers, launched Shadow of War = 60+ fps yay!
Decided that was good, went to sleep while leaving the PC idling at desktop (all games were shutdown). I wake up, and find that the PC is frozen. Rebooted it, launched Shadow of War = sub 40 FPS
Downloaded the earlier stable drivers for the 1080, uninstalled the current ones, fresh installed the stable ones - no dice, still the same issue.
Then i decide to switch back to my gtx 760 (thought maybe the graphics card was faulty). Uninstalled the 1080 drivers, fresh installed the 760. SAME ISSUE. Games that used to run @ 70 fps now barely scrap 30.
I am confused. What could it be? Any suggestions?
