hey everyone, I hope this hasn't been asked to death but I really want to play gta 5 on my computer. don't say just go get a console. Cause I don't want to. I already have .....

amd 8120 processor currently running 3.9ghz wich is a surprise for some reason its gotta faster than when I first put it in many years ago.

4 gbs I cheaped out for the 1600 series ram . I know that chip and board are set up for 1866 according to Amd's website.

I know I need 8 gbs ram and 2 gigs gpu ram. question is will it work? and what video card to get.

I don't want to buy a 200 graphics card if I don't have to so I will have money for the ram.

I don't need max settings or anything just smooth playability

please help

Need full system specs including the power supply brand and model as well as the case size/brand/model.
For a budget card that will play all games, some with lower quality, Radeon RX560 or nVidia GTX 1050 Ti are good. Those are available in small forms for smaller cases.

I second the previous suggestion. I have a brother with a 1050 ti and he gets 60+ fps on medium settings 1080p in GTA V. As hang-the-9 said though, you'll need to list full specs so we know whether or not the card will fit in the case, or if the power supply will be good enough to run it.

8120 amd fx am3
asus ma97 <===bottle neck I'm sure
psu is not a problem its 60w no printers or anything on it. has plugs for video cards .
1- 80 gb ssd
1- 250 gb sata 3.0

I will get the correct 1866 ram when I get the video card probably just get the 2 8gb stick for now... even though its better to get 8gb in every slot.... cause am3+ wants ram in every slot ... so each core gets its own memory bus. even though the 8120 is rated as a 8' core.. its still only based off the 4 core,, and then even reality of the 2 core .

they said the 2 cores had 4 and the trick is with my chip is the 4 core is "unlocked" so its not really 8 cores but its a really strong 4 core. wich I am seeing with the 3.9 ghz clock speed running at "energy saving" I have never messed with the timings and all that. I just let the system go automatic so it wont melt down
