Computer restarts when trying to play games and also get random colours all over my screen, faulty GPU?

My computer restarts when i'm playing games. I also get random colours all over my screen when this happens and also in the game before it restarts. Pretty sure it's because my graphics card is dying however my PC very dirty and has a large build up of dust inside. If I clean all my PC out, especially my GPU, could this possibly save it or is it just dead?

This issue is GPU or PSU related. Since you have a large dust build up inside your case, the GPU is most likely overheating. Monitor the GPU temp and make sure that its cooling system is working properly and the fans are spinning and are dust free. You have to do a lot of dust cleaning inside your case and you shouldn't have left your system in that state. Regular dust cleaning is a must procedure if you care about your system's health and longevity.

Also please post your complete system specs in order to get more accurate responses.

Finally if the GPU is indeed overheating then you could probably save it but it also depends on how bad the situation is and whether the overheating has caused permanent damage or not. Only by cleaning...
