I have been reading some forums where it says that this board (gigabyte ab350 gaming 3) is good for both the price and the features and be able to do a good overclock like a mobo X370, but I would like to know your recommendations if it is a good option to buy this mobo or it is better to go by an X370 for the ryzen 1700X

I've got that Gaming 3 motherboard! (With an R5 1600.)
In my personal opinion it's good value for the features it bring. (Good audio, a suitable amount of SATA and USB connectors, RGB light and support, etc.)

It can do some overclocking, but for maximum speed (control) on RAM and CPU I'd go for some X370 board. (Can't even reach the XMP speed with my RAM.)

I would suggest getting an X370 if you want to overclock, the ASRock Taichi, or the ASRock Fatal1ty Professional Gaming is a good choice to, the Fatal1ty he's a few more features than the Taichi but there both basically the same board from what Ive found out
