My PC is like 5+ years old, I did few little upgrades here and there, today I got a new video card for pretty cheat from a friend and im trying to see if my current PSU will be okay with it?
I did install it and everything seems okay... I just want to make sure that it wont burn out or damage something else when im playing games.

My spec

CPU: i7 920 2.66Ghz
MOBO: ASUS P6T SE
RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 2x8GB 1866MHz DDR3
VIDEO CARD: EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW+ 4GB https://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/GPU.aspx?pn=70FD7D03-C5A5-4114-8AB6-D2D4EC919BE8
Before this one I had ATI HD7850 2g for 3 years and everything ran fine
PSU: NZXT Performance Power PP800 800W https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817116007

I dont know much about PSUs I just know that mine is 800watt and the Video card needs 500+watts but then someone told me to make sure i have enough Amps

Thank you for any help

Solution
Your PSU is plenty of power for that card , your all set.

+3.3V@24A,+5V@32A,+12V1@18A,+12V2@18A,+12V3@20A,+ 12V4@22A,-12V@0.5A,+5VSB@2.2A

GeForce GTX 670 - 30A and a 500W PSU minimum....... Your PSU should handle it easily.

Should be just fine. Combined amps. of two of the PCIe connectors will not be double the amount of amps listed on the label but will be sufficient for your video card.

One more question If i add a SSD drive 240gig and another 8gig ram stick to max out my mobo 24gigs in total would that hurt the power usage in any noticeable way? or i should be okay?
