Greetings!

No, there won't be any negative effects, except the added noise from a large fan in the room:) I would recommend finding out why you are overheating to begin with though. Can you tell us anything more? How old is the system? Did you build it yourself? What is your configuration/parts? If the computer is old, have you cleaned it? There are a lot of things that can cause overheating, and I would love for us to help solve that problem...a house fan will help a little, but not much and will never address the actual problem of overheating...which could get worse over time if not addressed properly. If you could give us any more info, it would help us troubleshoot a lot better.

Hope this helps!

This helps, but we could use more...Did you build it yourself? If so, how long ago? If not, how old is the computer? Do you have an a10-7860k? I could not find an a10-7680k...

AMD APUs are known for running hot...what cooling are you using? Stock cooler? After market air or water?

Have you always had this overheating problem, or is it something that has occurred and gotten worse over time?

My first thought is that you may just have a problem with dust...if the computer is a few years old and has never been cleaned out, this could easily be the issue. Sometimes a good blow out with canned air and maybe replacing your thermal paste (CPU and GPU) may be all your computer needs.
