I'm new to PC gaming. I have always played on console but i just recently built my first computer and I am already looking to upgrade. I cant figure out what I should upgrade first.
My current build is:

CPU: Intel - Core i3-7100
Motherboard: ASRock Z270 Pro4 ATX
RAM: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB)
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1 TB
Video Card: GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
Power Supply: EVGA - 500W

I have a LG 32" IPS monitor with a max refresh rate of 60 Hz and a response time of 5ms.

I was thinking about getting the GTX 1060 but im not sure if it is much better than the 1050ti.
Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Your CPU/GPU is well balanced with GPU bottleneck a little. If your monitor is 1080p, no need for upgrade since you won't see any diff... What is your budget? Since you already have 1050 ti, just save for 1070. For CPU, save for coffee lake I5 and cheap 370 MB :)

There is no way to know if that GPU is bottlenecking or not and that isn't how bottlenecking works anyways. https://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic/214851-on-cpugpu-bottlenecking-in-games

I think the delta between the 1050Ti and 1060 is not enough to justify the cost. Save a little for a 1070 for mote noticeable results.

Personally, I'd wait for the 1070Ti release in hopes for a 1070 price drop.
