Hi friends,

My PC Specs:
AMD phenom iix4 955 processor.
Asus m2n68-am se2 motherboard
4 GB ddr2 ram (800mhz)
Geforce 1030 OC edition 2GB MSI Graphic card
120 GB adata SSD.
350 Watt coolermaster SMPS.

Can anyone tell me how to safely overclock my CPU and GPU so that i can play GTA 5 in high settings.
Does my motherboard supports OC..?
I am just having the stock fan on my CPU and GPU and 2 separate fans in my cabinet.

What can i expect after overclocking.. I am pretty excited as i am new to this. :D
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hey,

Starting with the SMPS/PSU: You should definetely get a more powerful one (~500W).

I read that your motherboard and black edition cpu both support overcklocking, but i won't expect too much potencial with a stock cooler because of the extra heat.

Your graphics card is also overclockable, preferably via the "Msi Afterburner".
Maybe you can get some extra performance here.

My tipp is leaving the cpu at stock speeds unless you have a better cpu cooler.
You should download the msi afterburner, set the graphics card power limit to max.(Leave the temp limit!)

Maybe try to get a little core frequency offset (~ +50mhz) and memory frequency offset (~ +250mhz).
Notice that these are very very rough values.
Watch some tutorials how to...

Unlike with cpu bios overcklocking, it's really hard to damage something with the msi afterburner.
When the graphics card gets unstable because of too high frequency, it will just reset itself and you can try with less frequency.

GTA 5 (1080p) in high settings won't work, i think medium details with no Anti-Aliasing might be possible.
Maybe you mind playing in 720p :p
