BSOD when rendering a video or converting a video

So i've been trying to convert some video files and render them in sony vegas 13, but whenever I start doing either of them, I first notice my fans running a lot faster, then it continues and looks ok for a while (like 50% done) then out of nowhere I will get a blue screen of death.

I'm posting on the MOBO forum because I believe based off of other threads that it may be my mobo issue?
Any help is appreciated!

My Specs:
AMD fx-8350 processor @ 4000mHz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 ti GPU
16 GB ram
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard

(I also believe its my MOBO because my BIOS hasn't been updated since 2013, but there is no new update for that bios because that company doesnt exist anymore, Award Software International XV f5a BIOS)

Solution
Run memtest (use a bootable USB or ISO) and scan your RAM for errors, let it do at least 1 pass
http://www.memtest.org/
It is possible your RAM is faulty

Okay I got that program and did the default stress test option with 8 workers.

1 of them failed right off the bat with "1 error" then 3 more of them eventually stopped too with "1 error" or "100 warnings".
The other 4 of the workers were still at Test 1 and didnt do anything else.
I don't know what this means or what this program is so what is happening?

It's a GreenMe 650W power supply.
I was told that 650W was more than enough for my hardware, but I did recently plug in 2 more fans to it so maybe thats drawing too much power?
How come it would be failing other than that?

(Thanks for your help by the way)

650w is more than enough for your hardware yes, but like with everything you should care about the QUALITY and not the QUANTITY.

with other words, the voltage stability , quality of powersupply(capacitors , filters etc) that matters !, greenme is a poor powersupply.
Quite sure your problem will be solved if you get a good 550-650 unit .

the powerdraw of a fan is almost neglectable (2w?).

Yeah when I was buying it I was skeptical because it seemed like a cheap Chinese PSU, but the reviews were all pretty good (I guess dont trust reviews haha)

I guess it also makes sense considering I get blue screens of death occasionally when playing power intensive games like Battlefield 1, but not mearly as much as rendering or converting (which get BSOD 100% of the time)

What kind of PSU would you recommend that wouldnt cause this problem, but is still pretty reasonably priced?
(And how can I be 100% certain my PSU is the problem? I know that test you had me do had half of them fail, what does it mean is wrong with it?)

That's my bad, I meant to say Chinese ahah because their whole thing with that PSU was it is 'green' and good for the environment, but also looks entirely super cheaply made, so I wouldnt be suprised if the PSU is the problem.

Im from the US btw

chinese are also world leaders in quality when it comes to powersupplies hahahaha

MERGED QUESTION
Question from octaviumofficial : "BSOD while converting or rendering videos"

Edited my post above, the PSU is better than i expected but still not amazing, but PSU's will often lead to black screens more often that blue screens. When voltages get unstable many unexplained things can happen.

What is the error code you get on the BSOD?

How can I check my specific temps when doing these tasks? I know that it is probably getting pretty hot because my fans start running really fast. And I forget what specific CPU cooler I have but it was a pretty cheap one with a small heatsink and a small fan.

Just had the BSOD happen again. It said under technical information: STOP: 0x0000003B (0x00000000C0000005, 0xFFFFF800030FBEC2, 0xFFFFF88006C5A140, 0x00000000000000000)

basically, a bad memory address (error code 0xc0000005) was used by what ever driver is at 0xFFFFF800030FBEC2
(windows loads the drivers at different addresses at each bootup)

kernel mode driver using a bad memory address. could be another driver corrupting the first drivers data, could be a memory timing problem (run memtest86)

can not provide much help without seeing the memory dump
