Could my system support a better GPU?

Hello,

my system is not the best nor are my components the newest so I understand that upgrading such an old rig is quite possibly a waste of money however I don't have the funds to build a new PC so I would like to upgrade my current system to keep it decent for at least some more time.

Now I have already checked for a better CPU and found out that my current is pretty much the best my motherboard can support when it comes to performance and so I would like to know if I could possibly get a better GPU - however finding out which GPU would be compatible with both my CPU and motherboard is a task I am not confident in taking on my own.

I use my PC mainly for gaming and I would like a better GPU fitted for just that - it doesn't have to be a beast (though I don't think my system could support anything of that sort) but maybe a card with double the performance or something like that would prolong my PC rig's lifespan for some time.

Here is my system details: https://imgur.com/mPyyli7

thanks to anyone who'll have some advice for me

its not really worth the money of an upgrade with new parts mate.
your biggest issue is likely running out of vram. on the gpu but you can mitigate that by turning the textures down in your games to medium.

the gpu has a lot of shaders so actual pixel pushing performance shouldnt be terrible. so again it would be hard to recommend a gpu upgrade as the outlay wouldnt really be worth the boost in performance.
but if you can find 1 for reasonable money (50-70) a 750ti or 760 would probably be as high as you wanna go
