Hi i have a pc i built about a year ago and yesterday when i came home i turned it on and it shows no display. The lights of the GPU and motherboard turn on except for the light at the top of my case that i think indicates the HDD. After about 5 times of powerin it off from the button it finally turns on as well as the light mentioned earlier. Have u guys got any idea what it could be. The OS is installed in a SDD. Thanks.
EDIT: Also when the pc shows no image the lights of the keyboard also dont turn on.

Solution

I guess either your Motherboard or your CPU has a problem, if you have warranty on either of those i would take use of that. Otherwise, ask your friends whether they have some other RAM for you to try or maybe even a CPU fitting in your socket, just to lend it to you. By that you could lock down the problem on a specific component.
I would also suggest you take the CPU out and see whether any pins are bent, or whether it's dirty.
It will not post if your RAM is removed, but you can try using (if you have 2 sticks) just one of them...

Hey there,

Your PC is not posting, after 5 times Boot Failure Guard kicks in and resets your Motherboard BIOS to standard, at least thats what it looks like.
When it starts, get into the BIOS settings and reset them to standard OR just clear your CMOS (enter "clear CMOS" in google if you dont know how this is done)
To me this looks like either you're running an unstable OC on your CPU or your RAM, which should be fixed by a reset BIOS.

Lemme know if it helped

greets

When i get home i will try it. The weird thing is im not overclocking and i cant even see the bios screen. I will have to do it in one of the attempts that turns it on. Thanks for the answer.

If there's no way for you to enter BIOS, just clear your CMOS.

Greets, sorry for slow answer
