Pc IO shield not lining up

Hey,
I'm currently building a new pc (for the first time), but i've noticed that the IO shield isn't lined up with the ports correctly. Could this cause a problem, and is there any way I could fix this?

Is it a new board? if so then it very much should line up perfectly. although it can be very tight fit.
are there too many/few outputs?
Sure it is the right way around?
if it is new you should be able to get a new/right one in replacement.

i found with io shields not lining up is do to the fact one side of the shield not pushed in all the way int othe case. you should here a click and see that the io shield the same hight all the way around the back of the case.
