My laptop recently got killed by a random guy at my office ( It was pretty old anyway ) I still have some photos (not important) in the M.2 SSD inside. Did the Killer USB killed the SSD or it's still alive and I can re-use it in my PC?
Usually that only affects the motherboard, also M.2 SSD's use 3.3v while USB uses 5v, but that doesn't mean there couldn't be damage, it is just unlikely.
