In that case, I think the Z170x-Gaming 5, which does still allow for most of those options if you should choose to take advantage of them later, might be the best bet.

This is the exact board I'm running in my current build and have been running this since shortly after the Skylake chips were released. I've had exactly zero problems with it and it handles a 4.6Ghz full time overclock on my 6700k with no problems, so running your locked i5 will be a breeze.

It's a high quality board, with plenty of options, solid aesthetic, clean layout and even though it's a Z170 enthusiast chipset, it's less expensive than most the other worthwhile H170 boards. You CAN find a less expensive board, but between 90-150.00, I don't think you'll find a...

You should be able to get a really good msi or asus for that price range, and I have always found budget msi and gigabyte products to be good for their price. ASrock can be more hit or miss depending on what you buy. Avoid Biostar like the plague. They are the cheapest boards available, but they are also the least reliable.

BTW, when I bought this board in December of 2015, I paid 160 bucks for it, so 99.00 is an incredible deal but the Newegg sale on it ends in five hours, so if you want to catch it at that price you'd best order it now. Otherwise, you'll pay about 109.00 plus shipping for it off Amazon.
