I'm confused. A company build my pc around a year ago and my specs are: PSU: Corsair VS650, GPU: MSI GTX 1060 X 6GB, now I was just looking around for a new case because I don't really fancy my current one anymore and I came across an article about extension cables because I'd like to use those for my next build. Now I saw a kit with a 6 pin connector and an 8 pin one. So I looked up what my gpu needed and I'm not sure 8 or 6 pin. Which do I need and do I even have the right PSU? Because the corsair v650 only has a 4 pin sata connector. (my pc has been running stable)
If I need a new one I'd like a modular if possible.

Kind regards, WouterTB

Your PSU only has a 4-pin SATA connector????

Are you blind????

In addition to the 24-pin, the VS650 has a 4+4-pin CPU power cable, two PCIe (both 6+2-pin), 4 Molex and 1 SATA.

Either you're only counting the number of cables NOT plugged into something already or you don't know what you're looking at.
