So I just ordered a gaming PC from Cyberpower. I ordered it with no operating system so that I could download Windows 7 on it using a disk.

Now every time I boot it up, it freezes once I get to the starting windows screen. Please help.

My specs are-

CPU: Intel® Core™ Processor i7-7700K 4.20GHZ 8MB
HD_M2SSD: 250GB WD Blue M.2 SATA-III 6.0Gb/s SSD
HDD: 2TB (2TBx1) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD
MEMORY: 16GB (8GBx2) DDR4/3000MHz (ADATA XPG Z1)
MOTHERBOARD: MSI Z270-A Pro ATX w/ USB 3.1, 2 PCIe x16, 4 PCIe x1, 6 SATA3,

Since you have a Uefi motherboard, are you installing win7 in Uefi mode?
basically leave the bios set to boot from whatever will become the system drive. Then during post you will be given the option to press an F-key to select a boot device. Press the F-key and then selectt he boot device that is preceeded by <surprise> UEFI:
example UEFI: LG DVD Windows 7 Setup

What appears after UEFI: can be the drive model#, the name of the program/file thats to be run, or even just the generic drive, like UEFI: USB, though they have gotten away from this last one thankfully.
