Hey guys, So I bought a GTX 960 a little bit over 1 year ago, and my current CPU really makes the GPU suck... Most games I play, I get FPS issues because of the CPU. I was just wondering if anybody could suggest me a decent CPU and a Motherboard with it, I would really appreciate it.

Current CPU is the AMD A8-6600k

If you can wait for coffee lake availability I'd get an i5 8400 and the cheapest board you can find, if you can't then either an R5 1400/1600 and a B350 board is a good option, then OC to 3.8-3.9GHz.
