So I wanted to buy a new GPU, so i did some research for compatable GPU's with my motherboard and i found a GTX 710, its Pci-e x8 and i have a pci-e x16 slot but i read it will still work, i thought i had everything figured out and was ready to buy it, but i wanted to see if it was compatable with my psu, like does it have enough cords or whatever to power it and i tried finding it myself but i couldnt, ill link my specs. Please someone help me asap and tell me if this gpu is compatable with My PowerSupply.

One is made by a primarily enthusiast based company with a good track record of making performance gaming products and the other is made by a primarily home and business user based company with a track record of making inexpensive PC's using just about the cheapest OEM parts they can get their hands on that won't break three days after your purchase.

Dell components tend to last only as long as they have to. MSI tends to at least try and sell hardware that will perform well and last a reasonably long time.
GT 710 shows as a 19w card. Total recommended power capacity shows at 300w, so yes, you're right and it's well within the confines of his current power supply even though we know those OEM Dell units are pretty lousy and are really only about 225w units. Still within safe tolerances though so long as the PSU is still good. That's probably a fairly old PSU by now though, so I'm sure even THAT capacity has degraded. Don't be surprised if you have power issues with ANY new card once you install one and you should immediately suspect that older power supply if you do.
