Honestly, both are pretty big. Normally people prefer OS to be on the smaller drive. Like for me I have a gaming rig that has a 120 gb ssd, 2 tb hdd, and a 1 tb hdd. OS on mine is the ssd because ssd size is smaller than either of my hdd drives and has faster boot time than both hdd's. So in your case, I would just install it on the 1 tb drive and go from there. It really is up to you.
