Scenario
I was watching some youtube vids then suddenly it turns the sound and display off but the cpu is running. Keyboard and mouse rgb turns off too. Any ideas?
Steps taken
- Remove my ram and test it to other pc. Turns out ok. (short time only)
- Reseat all the components. No good. After restart the display is still nothing.
- Removed GPU. Use onboard. After a period of time it happens again. No display no sound just the cpu running.
- Clean all the components. Problem still persist.
Conclusion
I think its not the gpu causes the problem because even when using onboard graphics it still turns off the display.
Whats left is RAM. (long time usage trips it). PSU (maybe long time usage). Mobo (not quite sure how to test. Dont have any replacement). Processor (also dont know how to test).
Please help. I always take care of my rig and it really breaks my heart seeing this.
