Hello, my current motherboard is very cheap (MSI 760GM-P34 (FX) Motherboard), and it totally bottlenecking my CPU (FX-8350) and my GPU (GTX 970). So, I would like to upgrade it to a higher end motherboard with the same brand (MSI, hoping that I won't need to re-install windows if I stay with the same brand).

The motherboard I'm having in mind for this upgrade is (MSI Extreme Gaming AMD 970 AM3+ DDR3 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard). Please, if you have any idea about this, do share the info with me, thanks in advance!

You might not have to, regarding MB make and model change it just might work but than you'd have to change drivers anyway. Brand actually have nothing to do with it. It's chipset and other parts tat meed appropriate drivers.
