So my computer was working just fine and out of nowhere my resolution change and my speakers stop working too. My monitor is showing random white lines and the GPU is not detected. Also, i am using a Sound Blaster Z and i believe it is not detected aswell because my speakers are connected to it but it is not producing any sounds. I already tried all the recommendations on the existing page like change settings in the Bios, Update the Bios, res-sit the wirings, tried a different GPU but with this one when i change the GPU the random white lines are not showing but the GPU is still not detected. So right now i have no idea what the problem is. I am running i5-3570k, asrock extreme4, gtx 780, sound blaster z, samsung pro ssd, evga P1200(i know its big, it was a gift from a friend), thats pretty much it. Hope you guys can help me to fix the issue. Thanks

Kind of sounds like a problem I had with one GPU of mine. It went bad, which they all do eventually.
When you put a other GPU in, have you tried to reset the BIOS?
I find it weird that you lost your sound. Have not experienced that before.
Incase you have integrated graphics, have you tried to run the system without a GPU?

i have not tried to try it without the GPU and use the MB vga. Yea it was weird that my sound blaster stopped working too. so i am debating whether my GPU is broken or the Motherboard is the main problem. I was thinking about bringin the computer to a computer repair shop and do diagnostic but they are asking $100. Later i will try to do it without the GPU. Could it be the PSU that causing the problem?

Thanks

Yes, the PSU can be the problem. Would be a reason why there are no lights, and it being dead.
If you own a multimeter, you can easily measure the voltage between the pins.
