Hi,

I've recently bought a new motherboard because the last one stopped working. Hooked it all up, inserted the disc, tried to install the drivers and it just gets to 99% then stops. Can't even cancel and exit it, the program just freezes (not the whole comupter though). Mainly just want the network driver. I've tried installing it from usb, same thing. Copied the files from the disc to Computer and install from there, same thing. Did a Flash BIOS update, didn't work. PC won't even shut down properly, just kind of hibernates and doesn't wake up. Have to restart it manually. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Old motherboard: ASUS Maximus VII Ranger Motherboard
New motherboard: MSI H81M-P33
Intel Core i7 4790 (LGA 1150)
Windows 10 (Upgraded. Originally installed Windows 7)

Going from A Z97 Chipset to H81 Chipset motherboard likely needs a new Windows installation as it is a major hardware change. Reusing an old Windows installation may seem like a great idea, but it leads to the kind of results you have now.
