Hey guys,
So I'm fairly new to the PC community. I'm a youtuber that came from console to PC for Rainbow Six Siege. I bought some top of the line stuff, and I didn't have problems with it for about 4 months... then suddenly I could no longer stream and record with the Geforce Experience. The frames would lock at 60, when it had been 200+. I now have to record with OBS while I stream, but even that is only getting about 100. I have no clue what happened, nor why the FPS suddenly dropped. I have a tri-monitor setup with two BenQs attached via one HDMI, one DVI into the motherboard. Then my 144hz BenQ monitor is attached via Dual Link cable to my Graphics Card (Geforce 1080 gtx.)

Here is my full PC build in case this answers any questions:
Intel Core i7 7700k> GeForce GTX 1080> Corsair RMX 750W> 32GB Corsair LPX RAM> NZKT Kraken X52> Asus STRIX Z720-E Motherboard>Samsung 850 EVO 250GB>Corsair ATX Mid Tower

I'm playing off my SSD which is about 130gb out of 250 gb. Is that too full? Should I get another?

My Intel Core i7 7700k runs pretty hot at 90-98 degrees Ceclius...Is that because the cooler is failing?

I'm only recording in 1080,60 but I need to be able to run Geforce Experience and stream like I always have.

Could my PC be plagued with something haha? I never downloaded security protection or anything of that nature... I've had to delete Chromium off my computer several times.

Basically, I'm just super lost when it comes to this stuff. Any help would be appreciated :)

This is probably the problem. Even gaming, a 7700K with liquid cooling shouldn't be anywhere close to 90C. If you reach these high temps, it might be that the cooler's pump is broken.

Let's check when these temps are reached. Let the PC cool for at least 30 min, we want to see how the CPU reacts from rest. Boot the PC, go into the BIOS (DEL or F2 when booting), and in the BIOS check the CPU temp ("Monitor" section if you're in Advanced Mode, or in the main page if not). While in the BIOS, the temps should be very low, just a few degrees (10C-20C) above ambient temp. If temps are already high, then the CPU is not being properly cooled and it could be the pump on your Kraken.

Let me know the results...

The intel core stays at 30 degrees on everything else. It's only on rainbow6 that it boots up past 90 degrees :/
