Today I've gotten 3 error messages about low memory (which I've only had once since I've owned my PC) and I was playing a different game each time. A few minutes a go it said my render device was out of memory and Overwatch crashed, my computer then went to a black screen and I had to unplug my PC to turn it off?

I'm not sure what to do, I'm currently doing an SFC scan, and am going to run a full virus and malware scan overnight to be safe. Any ideas what could be causing this?

I just saw a lot of pages with a quick Google search saying that this is a somewhat common problem. Kind of sounds like it could be an issue with drivers, but considering you didn't tell what hardware you are using I can't say much more. The one I read said something about a driver/game issue with a 1080ti and Windows 7, but like I said, we need more info.

The best place to start is to open task manager and see what's using all your memory.
You probably have an app that's leaking memory.
Also check your drive isn't full - maybe windows can't create more temp files or allocate more space to the swap file.
