So i recently dropped my iphone and it was pretty damaged as far as the bottom left part of my phone goes as its bent to the point where i cant insert headphone jack properly.

The screen is not cracked whatsoever and everything works fine for the most part except that the battery dies off very quick (100% charge last me an hour if not like 30 mins). everything functions properly however

I am going to replace the battery but what my issue is that my phone is stll really slow to open up apps and do any type of task and it stutters alot...is this due to the battery? my theory is that the battery is not supplying the cpu with enough juice and thus the cpu isnt working properly? will replacing battery fix this problem?

I have never seen this problem in my many years of fixing phones. If you haven't tried doing this already, Hold down the power and home button for about 10 seconds until the phone restarts. This will usually speed up a slow iPhone. I think that your theory is correct, that the battery is supplying the CPU with an inadequate amount of power, causing the phone to run very slowly. I think that when you replace the battery, this will be fixed. (hopefully) :)
