Hi,
I bought a fan controller this week (Kingwin Four Channel Turn Knob Multi-Fan Cooling Controller FPX-001) to decrease the noise of my desktop and I have to say that it works very well (still low temperature with almost dead silent fans).
My only concern is that the device heats a lot. When I touch the analog buttons to adjust the fan speed it is very hot (not burning hot but still very warm). My guess is that the voltage divider circuits are just behind the button-led panel so it's obviously heating but I need to know if it's normal to feel a so high temperature when I touch those buttons. Is it a standard behaviour with this kind of controller or should I replace it?
By the way I have four Corsair Air Series AF120 LED fans plugged in the device, so around 19 Watts. It should be way below the maximum power recommended for this controller.
Thank you very much for any answer!
