Fan controller is heating

Hi,

I bought a fan controller this week (Kingwin Four Channel Turn Knob Multi-Fan Cooling Controller FPX-001) to decrease the noise of my desktop and I have to say that it works very well (still low temperature with almost dead silent fans).

My only concern is that the device heats a lot. When I touch the analog buttons to adjust the fan speed it is very hot (not burning hot but still very warm). My guess is that the voltage divider circuits are just behind the button-led panel so it's obviously heating but I need to know if it's normal to feel a so high temperature when I touch those buttons. Is it a standard behaviour with this kind of controller or should I replace it?

By the way I have four Corsair Air Series AF120 LED fans plugged in the device, so around 19 Watts. It should be way below the maximum power recommended for this controller.

Thank you very much for any answer!

OP, with LED intensity like this I have no doubt it'll get warm fast, specially being on for long periods:

Just think about it like this:

LED CPU Waterblock - why not hot? - Well.. the water.
LED RAM Memory - WHY NOT HOT?! - Uhm.. that huge heatsink and excellent airflow inside the case.
LED Fans - WHYYY! NOT! HOTTT?!?! - Are you serious xD?!

Thank you for the response but I am not sure if I should laugh or feel insulted :)

Anyway, the controller LEDs are now finger tip burning hot after a few hours with power on, so I decided to replace it by another model without bloody hell bright LEDs:

I will receive it on Tuesday and hopefully this one will work fine without attempting to melt down my computer case.
