HD replacement in desktop

Solution
As long as the hard drive is the same physical size and makeup as the original, the amount it holds wouldn't make a difference. You would just connect the new one exactly like the old one is. Drives on desktops are really easy to replace. However, every desktop is different, so giving you exactly instructions wouldn't be possible.

If you open up the computer and look inside, it should be pretty obvious what you will need to unscrew and unplug to replace the drive. However, just make sure you can copy your current data to the new drive before making the change. Unless you plan on starting from scratch with that as well.
