Hello everyone,
I've decided to buy a 1440p monitor but with 60hz instead of 144hz because of personal reasons. I know that both gtx 1080 and gtx 1070 are good enough to play games 1440p (1080 for 60+ and 1070 for 60~ fps). My question is, the difference between some nvidia brand prices. Some brands like Inno3d and Palit are making gtx 1080 GPUs cheaper than other companies like MSI, Asus, EVGA. I'll be using using Deepcool Kendomen as case, i heard from my friend who uses it that the case has a good airflow inside so i am not that worried about heatings.
My question is, should I buy a gtx 1080 from those brands like Inno3d (ichill x4 for example) or should i go a gtx 1070 of a well known brand like Evga. The reason i'm asking this is the currency difference makes the prices kind of absurd. Like, known brands are minimum 100€ more expensive than the other brands (around 450 mu. here) and I can't pay that difference.
TL;DR: A not that known brand gtx 1080 or known brand gtx 1070 for a 1440p 60hz monitor.
Thank you,
