Hello.

I've just tried overclocking my RAM with A-XMP, but at 2933MHz PUBG and other games have been freezing/crashing randomly to desktop. I ran a MemTest and it showed 0 errors after 4 passes. I don't have any experience with overclocking and my CPU running at stock values.

Should I try disabling A-XMP and manually clock my RAM, could it make games more stable?

AFAIK my motherboard should be able to handle overclocked ram up to 3400MHz. My ram is 3000MHz.

Motherboard: MSI B350 Tomahawk, Socket-AM4
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz

I just tested with RealBench (Image editing, H.264 Video Encoding, OpenCL and Heavy Multitasking) and it says everything is OK, however it does also say "Unable to properly parse system specs." but I suspect thats unrelated? I'll take a look at the YouTube video now. :)

Ah I see. Didn't know that, thanks for clarifying. Its two sticks. 8GB each.

Two sticks should hit this easy, do you have the latest 7A34v19 BIOS? The last couple BIOS updates have had AGESA code changes to help with memory stability.

Are your exact ram model on the motherboard QVL list?
Ryzen boards are very picky about ram, specially when you overclock them.

Your exact Ram model number is CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 amd they doesn't seem to be on the qvl list.

Should be compatible,

QVL list is usually very limited. My ram is not listed either, but running 3200 at DOCP setting just fine on my MSI gaming pro. What DOCP timing did you put in?

Everything except voltage is set to auto. I was told clocking RAM with X-AMP (Profile 1) was basically fire and forget so I haven't messed with the settings individually.
