new pc, asus rog strix b350f gaming mother board has no internet access, plz help

I just finished building my new gaming pc, got everything hooked up, it turns on like normal, but when i plugged my ethernet into the pc, there's still no internet access, i downloaded drivers for the motherboard on a usb, and when i opened the file with winrar on the new pc, and it says the file is unknown format or damaged, plz help
Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 1700
Asus GTX 1060 OC 3GB
8GB DDR4
Asus Rog Strix B350F Gaming Motherboard
