I have a Corsair H100i v2 with two Corsair SP120s RGB on it but I only have one CPU Fan header on my motherboard(MSI B350 TOMAHAWK).
do I have to buy a splitter for it(can you give a link for a good one)?

Solution
It depends on how you want to control your fans.

The Corsair H100i v2 already comes with a splitter (attached to the pump block) wherein you can plug the two SP120s on it. The pump block has two connections: 1 for the USB2.0 header (to communicate data, fan speed, pump speed, and controls via CorsairLink Software) and 1 for the CPU header (to power the pump AND the fans connected to it). This is the first option.

The second option is to plug in the two SP120s using a splitter on one available fan header of your motherboard (usually, the CPU fan). But note that you also need another fan header available for your pump block. This options would require you to have two available headers. The difference between this option is that you...

So there is already a splitter on the h100i (so the two 3pin fan cables go to one cable). I also have a pump header on my motherboard do I have to put the USB2.0 header on that.

Yes, the pump block looks like this:

You can plug the 2 fans to the pump block like this:

The pump header is then connected to the CPU fan header in the above option.

The USB2.0 cable that comes with your Corsair H100i v2 is plugged into the pump block (see photo below) and into your motherboard's USB2.0 (9-pin) header -- NOT the pump header of your motherboard.

Pump block's USB2.0 socket (for plugging the USB2.0 cable included):
