Hello, I've been having a problem for a few months now, my pc just gets stuck sometimes..it could be for a few seconds, or even for longer, and I just can't find a solution for that.
My pc is 5-6 years old, so hardware problems are very possible, but I just can't really figure out where the problem is. It happens anywhere, while browsing, watching movies, etc, when Im gaming, my fps just drops from 200-350 to 30-70 fps, usually for about 5-10 seconds. (im playing mostly csgo, so its not something very heavy or anything, and it obviously worked perfectly for the past few years).
Up until now my main assumption was my hard drive, and maybe even a problem that formatting could help with, I bought a new ssd today(sandisk plus 240gb), installed everything, windows, csgo, and everything else I need on the ssd, but Im still facing all the problems I faced before, the computer is much faster obviously, but still gets stuck and freezes.
I also checked ram with memetest, but it was all fine and no errors.
My pc specs are:
windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
i5 3470 3.20 ghz
Radeon 7850 HD
MSI B75MA-E33
12 GB ram(4 GB stick + 8 GB stick, I know its not very recommended and good, but I got the extra stick for free..so I guess it can't hurt)
Seasonic 500w PSU
