Hello all,

My fiances computer has been on the fritz and we've determined the graphics card needs replacing. The thing is they have a weak 300w PSU so the options are limited.

Their demands are simple, they just wants to be able to play their MMOs on the highest settings, namely FF14 and Guild Wars 2 and they love Planet Coaster too.

Any advice on the right power supply and graphics card is greatly appreciated.

The current specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU@ 3.40GHZ
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 10 64 bit

Solution
Well a budget would be nice to know when selecting a new GPU and power supply. But from what you said the GTX 1050 Ti would be a solid choice. With a new power supply it should last some years.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Power Supply: Corsair - CX (2017) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($43.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $200.97
