Companion® 3 Series II system not working

So for my Companion® 3 Series II system I finished setting it up and im not sure which slot I put the wire in for my computer but I have it in the black one RS-Out but I get no sound out of right and left and my sub woofer but when I go in my volume mixer there is the green bar showing that there is volume.Please help and thanks!!! (Edit: it works if i plug in through my phone and my laptop)
