Unidentified Network, No Internet when connected to Ethernet. Ethernet doesn't have a valid ip address on troubleshooter. W10

I am trying to connect my computer from wireless to Ethernet cord for gaming but I get the constant "Identifying.. No internet access." or "Unidentified network. No Internet access.." None of the fixes I've tried from similar posts have been able to help and i just want to be able to connect via Ethernet! Please Help

From what I can see, since two different devices are having similar problems, I'd bet it's probably best to contact your ISP. It happened to us, and it turns out it was just a problem on the part of the ISP. Afterwards, we can connect just fine.

I have restarted the PC and the Modem and router already as well. I have already run a virus check as well and nothing has come up.

Have done that as well. Id like to rule out hardware as i have another laptop that also works fine on wireless but has the same issue when connected via ethernet.
