i opened the side panel of my case and took a look at the upper side of PSU no fan. i took a look at the back of the case and there was also no fan.. that was the two places where PSU fan should be and there wasn't any fan.. i couldn't take a look under the case.

through the whole 4 years i didn't have problems with my PSU, and i also use only 1 fan for my case.. i also had my system under load many times through the 4 years.. this is weird!?

gpu: Sapphire HD 7870 XT 2GB
Ram: 8GB
cpu: i5-3470
mobo: Gigabyte H61M-s2p
HD: WD Blue 1TB
PSU: Thermaltake 500W.. model TT- 500 NL2NL
case: Thermaltake commander MS-III

the PSU came with the case when i bought it.

If your system doesn't output much heat then you'll do fine with one case fan. As far as PSU goes, there are fanless PSUs also made, e.g Seasonic Platinum Fanless series,

thank you all for responding.. I'm also asking because recently i started to hear a buzzing/clicking sound.. I'm not sure where exactly it's coming from but most likely its from the PSU.. this sound started to become annoying, it's almost a non stop noise, and it become more louder when i open VLC, youtube, etc..
i almost not hear it when i enter the bios only.. my system temps are normal.
any explanation?

Coil whine/failing parts in it. Best to just replace it since it's a lower end psu anyways and it's 4 years old already.

i thought coil whine appears when PSU underload, or appears with a same tone most of times.. but the my pc noise have different tones.. its lower when I'm not doing something or in bios

and here

it has a 120 fan.

This is an OEM Thermaltake PSU thats why I could not locate it on their site. but it does have a fan.

thank you.. i think my PSU is the one on the second link.. but i don't know is the fan location up or down?.. i looked at the back and up there was no fan.. so i guess its located down directed under the case?.. if so, isn't that strange the fan located down like that where is no ventilation?.

This is your case

as you can see , there is a ventilation below the powersupply.

thank you very much, i really appreciate your effort.. just one last question please..
what do you recommend i should do first to solve the rattling noise problem coming from my pc?
will it help if i cleaned my PSU/ PSU fan?
or should i try re-installing CMOS battery?
or re-installing GPU?

you need to determine first the source of the noise. maybe it is the power supply fan , maybe just alot of dirt , or maybe the GPU fan.

if the fan is failing , cleaning it will not solve your problem. it needs to be replaced . and I dont recommend you open the power supply it is dangerous .

thank you.. the source of noise is near the PSU, so most likely its coming from PSU.. and i already cleaned my whole pc from dirt recently.. so i guess nothing left to clean except PSU fan, but I'm not sure.. i guess i have no other option then to take the risk :(
